Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC) is a premium institution for medical education and training established in 2020, in a collaboration with Tata Steel and Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). Manipal Tata Medical College is affiliated to MAHE (Deemed University) and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Medical Council of India (MCI).
MAHE Manipal has been formally recognised as an Institution of Eminence (IOE) by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Govt of India via signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during Oct 2020. MTMC Jamshedpur is a health science campus and offers MBBS and Allied Health Programme. Spread over 20 acres, Manipal Tata Medical College is situated at Baridih, Jamshedpur. The institute has all the basic amenities, including hostels, cafeteria, hospital, library, etc.
Manipal Tata Medical College is the region’s first full-fledged institution to offer allied health science programs with state-of-the-art infrastructure. As part of the programme, Tata Main Hospital and JRD Tata Sports Complex provide practical and clinical training.
